Managing Optometrist + Founder

 

I earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences at UC Davis and a Doctor of Optometry at UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Prior to opening Iconic Eyes in 2013, I worked in private, medical, and commercial practices in the San Jose and Santa Cruz area. 

​

  • Training: ocular disease and low vision externships at Palo Alto VA, San Jose VA, Miami VA hospitals, and Alameda County Medical Center

  • Certified to treat: using therapeutic drugs (TPA), primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), corneal refractive therapy (CRT)

  • Clinical interests: dry eyes, contact lenses, and patient education

Associate Optometrist

I earned a B.S. in Biology at UC San Diego and a Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University Eye Institute. I have prior experience working in the optical and corneal research fields, including published work in the Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics Journal at the College of Optometrists.

​

  • Training: contact lens and ocular disease externships at Hawks Prairie Vision Clinic in Washington and Norton Sound Health in Alaska.

  • Certified to treat: using therapeutic drugs (TPA), primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), corneal refractive therapy (CRT)

  • Clinical interests: ocular disease and contact lenses
